You chose collagen for your body’s building blocks. Here’s a different product with a different job.

Collagen gives your body building blocks. NMN does a different job.

Dr. Love’s NMN is a capsule your body uses to make NAD+, a coenzyme involved in cellular energy metabolism.* It’s not collagen, and it doesn’t do collagen’s job. Here’s the honest difference.

Dr. Robert Love

A lot of the people who ask me about collagen also ask me about NMN, so I want to explain the difference plainly.

Collagen is a protein. You eat collagen peptides, your body breaks them into amino acids, and it uses them as raw materials to make its own collagen.*

NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) is something different. It’s a compound your body uses to make NAD+, a coenzyme your cells use in energy metabolism.*

So they’re two separate products with two separate jobs. One gives your body building blocks; the other is part of how your cells make energy. I won’t claim they work together, and I won’t tell you that you need both. Some people take both; many take one.

Here’s how NMN fits into a day: two vegetable capsules once a day, best 20 to 30 minutes before a meal with a glass of water. Your collagen scoop goes in a drink, so the two don’t get in each other’s way.

If NMN is something you’ve been curious about, this is the simplest time to try it: it ships with your collagen, in the same order, and you don’t have to fill in anything again.

And if it’s not for you, that’s completely fine. Click “No thanks” and your collagen order stays exactly as it is.
